Knob Sizes
Standard is our default size for knobs. Size Large knobs will have added visual impact with their larger scale. Please refer to the 'Dimensions' drop-down below for complete size specs and comparison. If in doubt on which size to choose, we recommend ordering samples before placing a larger order.
Backplates
Pair your knob with a backplate for an added decorative touch and even more character to your space. Backplates also help protect your cabinetry’s finish from wear and scratches from repeated use.
Important Note On Unlacquered Finishes
Unlacquered brass finishes are often referred to as ‘living finishes.’ With no lacquer coating, the brass will naturally take on a beautiful aged patina over time. The rate at which this occurs can be affected by a number of factors from handling to humidity, and could vary among hardware pieces. For unlacquered polished brass, our most popular finish, use a brass cleaner to restore it to its original shine.

Use mild soap and water to clean your brass hardware. Dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths/pads, alcohol, or products containing ammonia.
Keep in mind that unlacquered brass naturally develops a patina over time, which enhances its natural beauty. To restore unlacquered polished brass to its original shine, use a brass cleaner.
Installation
Installation
We always recommend pre-drilling holes for installing hardware.
Drilling screws straight into wood without a pilot hole can cause the wood to split, especially with hardwoods like oak or maple. Without pre-drilling, you also have the risk of breaking off the screw's head.
Exposed screws made of brass are not as robust as steel screws. As such, we recommend using a hand screwdriver (rather than an electric drill) in addition to a pilot hole.
Pre-drilling helps keep hardware aligned and evenly spaced, reducing installation mistakes.
When pre-drilling for exposed screws, use a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the screw's thread.
